The Pomodoro Technique

How does it work?



Step 1: The Timer

You will need a timer for this. So we built one!
Click on "Start" in the navigation bar to open your timer.



Step 2: The Task

Click on the "START" button on the timer.
Focus on only one task until the 25 minutes are over.



Step 3: A Short Break

Take a 5-minute break! Have a stretch. Chat with friends. Get yourself a coffee. Use this time to disengage.



Step 4: Do Four Pomodoros

Repeat this cycle 4 times and when each session ends, mark off one Pomodoro and record what you completed.



Step 5: Take A Long Break

After four Pomodoros, take a longer, more restorative 15-30 minute break. This is a good time to have lunch!
